24 November 2025: Drop in crafts

We would love your help if you have a little spare time on Monday 24th November!
We will hold a painting session to decorate the air-dry clay pieces made by kind volunteers on Monday 17th. Be creative and add your personal touch to every piece! We will need some help drying the paint using a hair dryer, if you could help with that we would be delighted. And for those already dry pieces: please come and wrap the gifts with us, any time you can spare is more than welcome.
Everyone is welcome, all ages and abilities.
Monday 24th November Between 3pm and 6 pm. We would welcome any time you can give.

Event by Friends of Rings End Nature Reserve
Reach for the Stars for Real!! A chance to learn more about the stars and stargazing!

This free event involves meeting at the Social/Mess Hall at the HMS Whitemoor Prison complex (not in the Prison but right outside it) where we can have a cuppa, have star-themed snacks and listen to a fantastic mind-blowing presentation on a topic related to the stars, space, galaxies, the Universe, ect., followed by a trip up to Rings End LNR to see and learn about the stars from the telescopes and technologies if the skies are clear enough, all with help of the fantastic Peterborough Astronomical Society!!
Please be aware it will be dark and cold but incredibly mind-blowing.
25 November 2025: Walkie Talkie Wellbeing Walk
Join us every other Tuesday at 11am for our wellbeing community walk. Meeting at Aria Court Care Home for 11am, we will walk to the local park, and then head back to the cafe area for complimentary tea and cakes.

Everybody is welcome, this is an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy conversations with new people and enjoy the fresh air.
In case of bad weather, we will enjoy refreshments in the cafe area instead.

Get ready for a magical evening in the heart of March as we kick off the festive season in style!
From 6pm, enjoy live performances by the talented Youth Theatre Groups: Future Stars and Double Act from 20TwentyProductions – guaranteed to warm up the crowd and fill the air with festive cheer!
And the celebrations don’t stop there – One Wild Night will take the stage from 6:30pm (approximately) with a high-energy performance to keep the party going!
At 7pm, the moment we’ve all been waiting for… Father Christmas himself will officially switch on the Christmas lights, lighting up the town with sparkle and joy!

Join the magical underwater adventures of Sadko the Bard, conjure up a storm, and dance away at the Sea King’s court! Pop gigantic bubbles, explore exciting story props and all the instruments featured. Performed by award-winning singer-songwriter Daria Kulesh. Followed by an art activity inspired by the story.
