At the March Town Council Meeting of 5 October 1992, Councillors resolved to adopt consistent criteria in the allocation of grants/donations to charitable and voluntary organisations giving priority to individuals or organisations offering voluntary aid to promote the development of sport, cultural and social opportunity within the area of March. Organisations that believe that they meet the criteria must complete the Application Form and will be eligible for consideration on a quarterly basis, one application per year. Please see the Guidance note (link below) to check whether you meet the criteria.
These are made to established organisations that benefit people within the local community and are considered by members when the budget is set.
In addition to grants and donations local organisations can benefit from financial support from the Mayors Charities fund.
