24 November 2025: Stargazing event

Event by Friends of Rings End Nature Reserve

Reach for the Stars for Real!! A chance to learn more about the stars and stargazing!

This free event involves meeting at the Social/Mess Hall at the HMS Whitemoor Prison complex (not in the Prison but right outside it) where we can have a cuppa, have star-themed snacks and listen to a fantastic mind-blowing presentation on a topic related to the stars, space, galaxies, the Universe, ect., followed by a trip up to Rings End LNR to see and learn about the stars from the telescopes and technologies if the skies are clear enough, all with help of the fantastic Peterborough Astronomical Society!!

Please be aware it will be dark and cold but incredibly mind-blowing.

28th November – Christmas card making at March Library

Come and have a go at making your very own Christmas cards using various methods including iris folding.

Refreshments will be available.

As part of our Fantastic Fridays events for adults, this event is free but booking your place at the library counter is essential.

4 December 2025: Santa on tour 🎅🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌

Each December, March Lions (with the help of March Rotary Club) take Santa and his sleigh on a tour of March, whilst also collecting for local charities nominated by each club.

Browse the stalls, explore the heritage rooms along Platform 2, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake and see the progress being made on the Victorian Railway Carriage project .. Chat to the volunteers and find out how you can get involved .. The doors will be open from 10am until 2pm .. Free admission. Parking available in the station car park – please DO NOT use the Braza Car Park!
